This bucket-list adventure will take you into the open ocean, close to the shoreline, where you’ll catch large, amazing Dungeness crabs while enjoying breathtaking scenery. GREAT CRABBING
Crabbing in Charleston, Oregon, is some of the best on the Oregon Coast. The Dungeness crabs are large, and the catch is plentiful. The legal size for Dungeness crabs is 5 ¾ inches, measured from the front of the spike on the widest part of the shell, and you can keep up to 12 males per person. The Red Rock crab limit is 12 per person, and you can keep either sex and any size. This is an exciting and fun trip that promises large and plentiful Dungeness crabs. You will not be disappointed! (An Oregon Shellfish license is required for this trip.)

COOKING CRAB
Once you’ve caught your Dungeness crabs, Adventure Charter Fishing can clean and cook them for you for an additional fee. Alternatively, there are several nearby locations where they will cook them for you. If you prefer, you can cook them yourself using the classic method: Bring fresh bay water to a boil, add the crabs, and return the water to a boil. Once boiling, cook whole crabs for 15-20 minutes or cleaned crabs for 12-15 minutes.
